Web Proxies
Web Proxies are designed to improve a user’s web-browsing experience by cutting
out the need for the user’s computer to interact with internet-servers and speeding
up webpage loading times.
The web-proxy is a remote proxy which sits in-between the user and the web-server.
The first time the web-proxy encounters a website it stores all the relevant
files in a database-cache. The next time a user visits a website through the
web-proxy, they will be shown the information the web-proxy has stored and will
not be in contact with the internet server itself, and this speeds up the whole
process. The web-proxy will remove out-dated files on a regular basis to keep
the information as fresh as possible.
If a user employs a local proxy server, or a good web-proxy like Proxify,
they can speed up the process of Internet surfing quite considerably.
